A Funeral Mass for Maria Cecilia Lopez Simental, age 34 of O’Neill, Nebraska will be 10:30 AM Thursday, July 28, 2022 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in O’Neill.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8 PM and continue on Wednesday from 4-8 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM, all at Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill.  She passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha, NE. Memorials may be directed to Maria’s children.  Arrangements are under the direction of Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill.

Maria Cecilia Lopez Simental was born on July 14,1988 in Huachotita, Nayarit. She was a mother of 3, Hildeliza Arciniega, Tomas Arciniega, and Miguel Arciniega. Wife of Luis Arciniega.

We didn’t know this day would come, it happened all so fast. The Arciniega and Lopez family are very thankful for our community and for those who are helping. We appreciate it how much you guys are helping. The family gained a beautiful, strong, caring, loving angel she will always be with us in our hearts.

She will always be remembered as a “Fighter.” She never gave up until the end. I will always remember when she would say “mija hechale Muchas ganas a lo Que viene” that saying will always stay with me.

I know my mother will be cheering for all three of her kids. Every achievement we have is going to be dedicated to her, every step in life is for her. My mom was a very happy woman, she always had a smile on her face and she never let anything or anyone bring her down. She will be remembered in so many ways. Even though I can’t feel her nor hear her she will always have a space in our hearts forever and always, I love her so much mi angelito mio, my guardian angel

Maria is survived by: her parents, Lucia Simental and Tomas Lopez; husband Luis Arciniega; children; Hildeliza Arciniega, Tomas Arciniega and Miguel Arciniega; siblings, Samuel Lopez, Natividad Lopez, Rosendo Lopez, Juan Lopez, Monica Lopez, Oscar Lopez, Ramon Lopez and Nereida Lopez; mother and father-in-law, Hildeliza Meza and Luciano Arciniega; brother and sister-in-laws, Soraida Arciniega, Yeseina Arciniega and Eliseo Arciniega; many other relatives and friends.
