A Funeral Mass for Eunice McClellan, age 81, of O’Neill, NE will be 10:30 am Monday, April 12, 2021 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in O’Neill, NE. Father Bernard Starman will officiate. Burial will follow in the O’Neill Cemetery. The Funeral Service will be live streamed at Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5 pm at Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill, NE with a 5 pm Parish Rosary. Eunice passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital in O’Neill. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church of O’Neill, NE. Arrangements are entrusted to Biglin’s Mortuary of O’Neill.

Eunice was born October 2, 1939 in Orchard, NE to Ralph and Anna (Clemens) Van Horn. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School.

On May 2, 1960, she married Robert (Bob) McClellan at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in O’Neill.

Eunice and Bob owned and operated Johnson’s Drive Inn for 13 years, where Eunice created their own “famous” Gio Burger. They enjoyed dancing, traveling, farming, and spending time with their family and many friends. They built a beautiful life together and truly represented unshakeable devotion and the love of a lifetime. Eunice has looked forward to being reunited eternally with Bob, where they can dance freely again.

Eunice was a generous and compassionate soul, always willing to help anyone in need. She was also very spontaneous and ready for any adventure. She enjoyed traveling and casino trips. If there was a car going somewhere, she was in the front seat ready to navigate.

She will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her, including her beloved cat, Lily.

Eunice is survived by her four children and spouses, Darlene (Tom) Cepel of Columbus, NE, Jolene (Joel) Lordemann of Minot, ND, Diane (Steve) Goldfuss of O’Neill, NE and Douglas McClellan of Norfolk, NE; ten grandchildren, Jay Cepel, Lindsay Cepel and fiancé Kenny Rosno, Shayna Cepel, Luke (Rachel) Lordemann, Lyle (Brenna) Lordemann, Jamie (Dillon) Jakubowski, Jacob Goldfuss, Kenny (Mackenzie) McClellan, Hunter McClellan, and Hannah McClellan; three great-grandchildren, Scott and Pete Jakubowski and Linley Lordemann.

Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Anna Van Horn, and her husband, Bob McClellan.
