She also liked bowling (she won the 600 club 8 times), working with crafts (especially leather and beading), and working in her garden. She was a 20-year member of the Brown County High School Rodeo Club. Family was also very important to Debra. She was devoted to her children and was very proud of them.

Debra was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church O’Neill and was also a lifetime member of the Ord VFW.

Cameron Dauer and family,

I have good memories of teaching you in 4th grade and seeing you around O'Neill and also at the car races in Stuart. You were always fun to visit with. My sympathies on the death of your mother. I had conferences with her and your brothers numerous times. I know losing a parent is never easy. Sometimes there is nowhere to turn but to the Lord. Hope you are doing that now. Know that you are thought about and prayed for. Leroy Wiekamp
